First off, for anyone that is interested in chickens, I have a website recommendation. Backyard Chickens is an excellent resource for anyone interested in owning chickens. They have a huge forum for answering questions and they have tons of information on coops, feeding, raising and even the big things like laws in your area.
Chick Day was Monday, March 4th. We ordered a small flock of 5 pullets (lady chicks) from Pickering Valley Feed and Farm in Exton. We decided to try a bunch of different breeds this first round to see how they grow and to get a variety of different eggs!
